One of my absolute favorite times of year is when the early blooming bulbs start popping all over. It’s like a huge, happy sigh saying, “You made it through winter!” This time though, it feels unbelievably good given the last year. We all have had hardships come at us in a lot of different ways and one thing that keeps me going is the amazing design community. As a previous designer turned rep, I have seen both sides. With my reps caring for me throughout both work stress and personal hardship. What I didn’t expect as a rep is that I would be supported in return. I don’t care what anyone says, we are different here in the Pacific Northwest and I am so happy to call it home more than ever.
